Introduction
The next generation Internet protocol - IPv6 - was developed by IETF to deal with the long-anticipated IPv4 address exhaustion.
While IPv4 allows 32-bits for an IP addresses, IPv6 uses 128-bit, which allows for a total of 3.4 x 1038 addresses.
All major operating systems has provided mature production quality support for IPv6 since 2010.
Deployment Status
The worldwide deployment of IPv6 is very encouraging and gives us an idea of what the future holds for the Internet in the coming years.
EasySpeedy is working on deploying IPv6 into our network infrastructure, and will, when ready, allow for both IPv4 and IPv6 to co-exist in our network.
