KVMoIP simply means attaching your local keyboard, monitor, and other local
devices directly to your Sun Fire server using the Internet as your cord cable! Instant availability 24/7 as the
KVM card already sits in your Sun Fire server. No need to ask for a
pre-scheduled, time-limited "KVM/IP slot"...
KVM/IP requires NO special software or hardware modifications at your end.
When accessing KVM/IP all you need is a web browser capable of running Java
applets. All keyboard and video signals are, of course, fully encrypted.

Using the KVMoIP you may install any operating
system of your choice. The Sun Fire X2100, X2200 and X4510 servers can run Linux, FreeBSD **, OpenBSD **, Windows,
Solaris, Xen, or VMware.
Add the FREE EasySpeedy Remote Control Center features to the KVMoIP and you
will be working with the most comprehensive management tools offered in this industry!

Apart from high performance and low power consumption, the answer lies in the
built-in comprehensive Remote Management. Customer surveys show that the 2
most wanted features are access to Remote Reboot and KVMoIP 24/7/365.
The new Sun Fire X2100/2200/4150 M2 servers come standard with comprehensive
remote management capability, making system management easy and at no extra
costs. The embedded Lights Out Manager enables remote power control, KVM and
remote media capability, as well as monitoring of key hardware components.

Unmetered means you do not have to worry about receiving surprise traffic
bills even if you need to burst your traffic from time to time at 100Mbps
speed. On the other hand you should not expect to utilise 10Mbps or more on

and X2200 series. However, they may do so in future versions.
