A couple of figures; 38 percent better performance than systems based on the Intel Xeon 5160 processor, such as the HP DL360 G5 and Dell PowerEdge 1950. Multiple world record benchmarks has been obtained using the AMD Opteron 1000 Series processor, which surpasses the performance of Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 CPU and provides at least 52 percent higher performance than the HP DL320G4, Dell PowerEdge 850 and IBM xServer 306m.

2. Comprehensive Remote Management.
The new Sun Fire X2100/2200 M2 servers come standard with comprehensive remote management capability, making system management easy and at no extra cost. The embedded Lights Out Manager enables remote power control, KVM and remote media capability, as well as monitoring of key hardware components.

In addtion, the Sun Fire series offer 15 percent lower power consumption than systems based on the Intel Xeon 5160 processor, such as the HP DL360 G5 and Dell PowerEdge 1950.

The Sun Fire X2100/2200 M2 servers can run Linux, FreeBSD**, OpenBSD**, Windows, Solaris, Xen, or VMware. Using the KVMoIP you may install any operating system of your choice. An alternative way of automatically installing Linux is to pick your preferred version using our availability list in your EasySpeedy Remote Control Center.
